Your use of the Site following any such changes constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms and Conditions as changed. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you use this web site.

The entire content of the Retro Vintage Watch web site is copyrighted as a collective work under applicable copyright laws, and coordination, arrangement and enhancement of the content.
This includes Photographs of products which you may not use without prior written consent.

Acceptable Use

Unless you are a subscriber to our website, you must not access or attempt to access any area on the website that is restricted to subscribers.

You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the applicable law.

Placing an order

You may purchase RetroVintageWatch items using the following methods of payment PayPal, Bank Transfer, Personal Cheque. On rare occasions, items may not be available for technical reasons.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. We will use our best endeavours to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price.

Please read Item descriptions carefully. Once an order is placed and paid you will receive a confirmation invoice via e-mail.

Product Authenticity

To the best of our knowledge all our vintage watches (the watch itself excluding strap) are authentic and original. The vintage watch Brands advertised on this site such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling etc. are verified by our contacts in the watch trade as authentic. The vast experience of our watch specialist in buying and dealing with watches on a daily basis helps us to ensure thier authenticity.

Product Colours

We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on the Retro Vintage Watch web site. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be 100% accurate.

Warranty and Information

Mechanical and Automatic Vintage Watch Warranty

We offer a 3 month movement warranty on your watch which will cover the smooth running and timekeeping of the movement. Faults in the movement due to accidental damage from knocking or dropping the watch will not be covered. Please also bear in mind that some of our watches only keep an accuracy of -10 to +15 seconds per day.

As the new owner of this vintage timepiece it is also recommended that a routine maintenance service is completed every 3-5 years to ensure the movement is clean, lubricated and any worn parts replaced. External parts of the watch such as case, strap, bracelet and glass are not covered by the warranty as these are areas that will receive general wear and tear as the watch is worn.

Quartz Watch Warranty

We offer a 6 month warranty on your watch which will cover the smooth running and timekeeping of the movement. Faults in the movement due to accidental damage from knocking or dropping the watch will not be covered. The majority of quartz watches will have an accuracy of approximately 99.5% though this can vary slightly every 3-5 years as there are still moving parts to the watch. The battery of a quartz watch should be on average about 1 year though again this can vary from person to person, temperature can also greatly affect a quartz watch. External parts of the watch such as case, strap, bracelet and glass are not covered by the warranty as these are areas that will recieve general wear and tear as the watch is worn.

Water Resistance

The majority of our watches are 'splash proof' (unless otherwise stated) and can withstand slight submergence though should not be used while swimming or showering. When a watch has a new battery or is serviced the seals should be checked and replaced if necessary. Pressing of the chronograph pushers, buttons or crown adjustment should not be done under water as this will flood the case.

Any warranty is void if the watch or movement is tampered with by an unauthorised third party.

Faulty items

We check all our watches before they are posted. Please carefully check your items once they have arrived. In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty/damaged item please email us within 10 days of receipt stating your Order Number and the nature of the fault.

Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations the customer has 7 working days from receiving the goods in which to request a return. The customer must contact us first to arrange the return, and have a ligitimate reason for returning the goods. The return postage is paid for by the customer. Please read descriptions carefully.

We are only obliged to give a refund once the item is received. It must be received in the same condition it was sent, unblemished with tags and packaging complete. For peace of mind we recommend sending a return by recorded delivery.
