Retro Vintage Watch began as a small venture, first conceived in Harrogate. Born out of passion for vintage watches and desire to create something new, in the early days we rented a single cabinet in SPACE Harrogate Retro Store in Spring 2010 and created the Retro Vintage Watch brand.

Initially starting with just one cabinet of watches, proceeds from sales were reinvested and the collection grew.

Retro Vintage Watch has since sold over 2000 watches to customers and collectors in th UK and Worldwide.

There have been many people who have helped us on this journey so far.

They know who they are so we will not name them all here.

The retail environment is always changing and we enjoy the challenges it brings.

We aim to collect and retail desirable classic timeless watches while offering efficient customer service.

Our Managing Director Simon has personally over 15 year's (all his working life) experience in the jewellery and high end watch trade. Having previously worked for some of the most prestigious Jewellers in the Harrogate and Leeds area along side a multitude of watch manufacturers. Now running our new boutique Store Orologium.
As well as his own vast knowledge, Simon has a considerable collection of horological literature and QP Magazines dating back to the first issues - he is an active watch enthusiast and has been known to advise the BBC for their watch related articles.
As the Director of Retro Vintage Watch, Simon has a keen interest in vintage timepieces particularly specialising in Breitling, Zenith and Vacheron Constantin.

Favourite watch -
'I would find it very hard to narrow down a specific watch so here are few of my all time favourites'...

Breitling 1940's Datora - I've had 2 in my time, both 2 and 3 register versions in 18ct Rose Gold. The finish and detailing on the case is stunning for the age. This is one of the few complication pieces that some how keeps an un-cluttered dial.

Zenith 1960's Sub Sea - Rare to find though with its oversized orange hands you will know when you see one!

Vacheron Constantin 1960's Turno-graph - Fewer than 100 pieces were made of this watch that was produced to compete with Rolex's Thunderbird Turno-graph.
